dear friends... im a graduate student n my research is based on glycol chilling of milk. cud u please help me with some information about milk cooling systems, especially glycol chilling. Plzz provide some links or articles.

I think if you found articles or any other information on secondary refrigerant systems cooling liquids, you would be in right ball park. RETA course 2 talks about secondary systems and the use of 2 and 3 pipe systems. The use of propylene glycol is due to the fear of ammonia contaminating the dairy and the food grade rating of this glycol.
