A question for experts...
The indoor unit of split a/c is generally monted vertically on the wall.
I have 2 questions :
1. Can the unit be mounted in the MIDDLE of the room ( instead of wall ) on a suitable support structure? Is it necessary to block the bottom space ( upto floor ) with a thick curtain?
2. Can the indoor unit be monted in a slanting position? ( Always the vanes in the outlet direct the air towards the front .. instead can the unit utself be monted pointing the lower portion to front?)
This should be more efficient because the air will be directed towards the front naturally .. instead of it striking the vanes and getting reflected to front ..
I am a total illiterate as far as air-conditioning is concerned.
