Hi all
I have a problem with an SBIII Max that will not run in stop/start mode. In continuous it will manually start and run fine - switch it over to stop/start it cuts out. Turn it on in stop/start and it will glow the plugs and energize the buzzer but thats it. Has anyone got a schematic and or wiring diagram for this unit and any suggestions as to the possible problem? Many thanks in advance

Thought I would let ppl know what the problem was. The temperature compensation thermistor mounted on the engine block had failed sending too cold a reading to the cycle sentry unit.

If the unit was left on long enough, 2 to 3 minutes it would eventually start.

Hope that helps others!

This is a common problem, but most people dont notice. The resistor works it way out of the thermister bolt, and corrosion causes it to go open circuit, and usually the glow plugs burn out, then they say it cranks but wont start!
