Does any manufacturer make a large (1100kW approx) air cooled chiller that uses either hydrocarbons or Ammonia as it's refrigerant. Please advise if it's a "special order made to measure" one, or an "off the shelf", granted it would be a big shelf!

It's for a office block, and the consultant has specified ODP = 0 and GWP of less than 5, but not given a manufacturer. Before i go back and say i don't think either are a good idea to use and no-one makes them, i just want to be a little more certain.

Thanks :)

Hello all, just back from holiday (skiing in Italy, weather not that good) so it took some time to read the latest posts.

Take contact with Andy here on this forum, he can help you or Grasso (GEA group) in The Netherlands or there was not long ago a Canadian member (Works at Simco I remember) who makes them as a monobloc unit.
