We have recently moved sites and 'found' a couple of old (20 years) ICI R22 cylinders plus some empties of various parentage.
Whats the collectives best view on environmentaly responsible disposal (UK) of old cylinders as we don't use R22 anymore (only a few kg left anyway) and these cylinders are well passed any safe inspection date and must be close to end of life (rust?).
Local council and ICI aren't intersted as they are no longer in the business and the distributors appear less intersested than that.
I am starting to have sympathy with fly tippers....if it wasn't for the traceability issues. :(
Credit to A-Gas they took all their cylinders without any fuss...
