Hi,

Unfortunately I committed myself to looked at my friends Maytag fridge freezer. It runs on R134a. I'm not sure what suction pressure this should be running at as the only R134a integrals I have worked on are HT. Any help would be appreciated.

Suction pressure rules should apply to whatever equipment it is depending on temperatures.

You haven't given us any readings so we assume that it is working OK ?

hi taffylad, well you will be weighing the charge in wont you? the charge will be on the fridge . but as brian indicated you just use your comparitor to see the suction psi

Sorry, I forgot some of the key points here. Its not working. Both HT and LT sides. Suction is pulling into a vac. I was going to charge it up by pressure and try and find a leak.
As you may have gathered I have never worked on a domestic integral before.
