Hi this is my first thread so please bear with me, does any one know the expected running pressures of a freezer running on R134a, we are just about to fit the new condenser replacing the old R12 prestcold existing, my experience with refrigeration dates back to R502,R12 days so any help will be welcomed.as far as i can tell the system would run at low pressure or even a vacuume. i do know that 404a would be better but do not have the ability to change all the valves etc as its a bespoke freezer for a well known fast food chain.

0 deg C = 2 barg (27 psi)
-5 = 1.45 barg (20 psi)
-10 = 1 barg (14 psi)
-15 = 0.65 barg (9 psi)
-20 = 0.35 barg (4 psi)
-25 = 0.1 barg (less than 1 psi)
-30 = -0.2 barg (-3 psi) (I know there is no such thing as a negative pressure but I just read it off the compariter).

Just be aware that to get the evap temp you need you have to run a very low back pressure.

Would a drop in not be better? Like ISCEON49?
