I am designing an AHU with thermal wheel and horse shoe pipe , these concepts are totally new to me

Could anyone please elaborate these concepts in details ???

The thermal wheel sounds like a de-humidifying heat recovery wheel by Munters -Rotaire or Wing Wheel, do not now about horse shoe stuff, could relate to heat pipes.
