Firstly, Thank you so much for taking time from your own busy lives to answer our questions and help, ok so here goes......
Or fridge keeps freezing everything with a high water content. We have tried to adjust the temperature but this has no effect. We have turned it off and defrosted this appliance also.
Please can you shed some light on it for us.
Thanking you all in advance

yup more than likely a stuck stat, you should be able to remove it handy enough and get a replacement in a domestic appliance repair shop. Just check the door seal also to make sure its not ripped or broken and the door is closing fully

if your looking to repair it yourself, replace the thermostat.if problem persists you will have to get someone to take a look at it,if you want to save 100 quid take the fridge to them.

Hi.
If frigde is running continuously, then certainly sounds like a thermostat.
OK, now look on outside of cabinet somewhere there will be a manufacturers label, stating model number and serial number, find the manufacturer in phone book/ internet/ local and order one.
So with new stat, unplug refrig and replace stat, wire for wire etc.., A good project to save money, plus beats watching TV
