Leak back test will help identify the amount of refrigerant that comes back after compression .usually this is a test bench test for the compressor after assembly . More the leak back lower the capacity

Hi lowcool,
Sad case of "local" slang I am afraid!
"Pot" usually means a Hermetic Compressor.
Hope this helps?

I looked with Google but nothing came. It might help if you can get lots of more details.
What is the machine it is in?
What is the voltage?
Is it single or 3 phase?
What is the run and start capacitor sixes and discharge voltages.?
How old is it?
What is the id numbers on the relays?
What does it say on the expansion valve or is it using a capilliary tube?

If you can give info I will try again for you.
