Firstly thanks in advance for reading this and if you can provide help then all the better.
I have a Liebherr integrated fridge. On the plate inside is written
KIPve 2840 INDEX 24A/147
0974750-01
This is the problem
My partner said she thinks the door was left open all night and as it is quite warm here in UK for once maybe this has caused some damage. Possibly a coincidence.
I looked at the fridge and displayed in the temerature scale window was the code FO.
The fridge was cool not warm but definitely not running. I turned off the fridge for 10 minutes and then back on.
The temperature FO turned off and on to 7 degrees C.
The motor came on at the top anf cool air stated to circulate. This stopped after a few seconds. The temperature guage now reads 2 degrees C and does so all the time. It is definitely not 2 degrees.
If I press supercool the fan at the top starts then turns off.
My question is about changing the sensor. Does this involve soldering anything or is it push on connectors.
As it has been explained on here on other threads we live in Rip Off Britain surrounded by freeloader engineers who tarnish the reputation of honest working men. Trouble is the honest blokes are getting few and far between.
Any help or advice is appreciated.
