hi im changing the gas on a r22 freezer to r404a.Change expantion valve etc.Also i will drop the old oil out and replace with right oil for 404.my quetion is,will threre still be oil in oil sep,or will just changing the oil do?Thanks

Drain the separator & pre-charge ester oil as marked on oil separator. Besides, while system operates with ester oil ,change the oil one more time . This would remove left over mineral oil .

Hi there! I am replacing my old copeland compressor model KALB-015E with KALB-015L. They have the same power supply. What would be the differenc if the other one is "Less Oil" (code L)? Should I add oil to it? Thanks!

Just verify the Specs of both the models. I think the oil qty. Of both the models are same.

it's always better to clean the whole circuit and remove 100% of MO, so you can gon to the refrigerant you want.
