In my personal vocabulary, A/C is the technology providing comfort cooling for humans. As such it is a small part of the world of Refrigeration.

I think the first reply sums it up perfectly and just to add. Refrigeration is the broad term for all cooling operations so A/c would fall within that spectrum A/C is a term specific for the cooling of Air for any application that may serve.

Refrigeration is the process of removing heat from an enclosed space, it lowers the temperature of an enclosed space as compared to the surroundings, whereas air conditioning is process of controlling simultaneously temperature, humidity. cleanliness and velocity of air in an enclosed space. Refrigeration is one the most important part of an air-conditioning.

when you say air conditioning its mean all about air
like temperature , flow , humidity , cleanliness ,pressure , and it has different branchess like , Comfort air conditioning ,process air con , precesion air con,
it is not fact that air conditioning is only deals in comfort
On the other hand about refirgeration, we can say that it is low temperature application.
