I've got a BEKO TZDA524F domestic freezer which only reaches zero degrees C. Had the main circuit board and thermostat replaced. Any ideas what the fault is?
Thanks

What is the defrost type in that freezer?

auto defrost, don't think ice is the problem because I turned it off while waiting for the spare parts

I just thought maybe el heater is by some way on when compressor is on (if defrost is by el heater), or closed defrost valve maybe leaking gas (if defrost is by hot gas). But more probably ***** is (partly) gone. Or the compressor's capacity is somehow reduced (inner fault). The condenser is clean, of course?

May not cappillary be restricted (or rather the strainer before it)?

Is it switched at 0 degree by thermostat or is it working and working discontinuously never reaching its - 20 or -25 set point?

Set thermostat to low temp ie -18 or -24 but display shows temps ranging from -1 to 3 or 4 and definately not freezing.

Then, unplug the freezer quickly and wait for the repairman.
