Pacific Air Conditioning - E2 displayed.

Has anybody come across a pacific 07 heat pump system which has the code E2 showing on the fascia grill where normally the return air temperature is displayed.

Any ideas out there?

But what does the E2 fault code displayed mean?

low ambiant temp, did you do a check up of the system and all presure and temps are in ordre??

All the operating pressure and temperatures are correct. The air conditioning system was cooling and heating as expected. Do not think it could be a low ambient temperature as the outside temperature was +26 centigrade.
