Panel mounted controllers as fitted to commercial refrigeration cabinets

I found something interesting today that may be of help to others:

Carel controllers PJZ, EASY and others have a factory reset function for faulty controllers. If you switch the cabinet off, hold the SET button and switch the cabinet back on, this will restore carel factory program (not the set up parameters)

I have used this function a couple of times and it has cured the fault…………so far!!!!!!!

Also if you hold the up key, this allows the compressor to run regardless of cabinet temperature as a couple of customers have found out (fridges running at -12c):D
