New Hotpoint freezer stopped working!

I got a new Hotpoint FZ150P freezer from Currys just two weeks ago. It is now causing the RCD in my fusebox to shut off every time I try to connect it to the mains power! I have called Currys who say the earliest they can send an engineer is next Tuesday!:( Has anyone any idea why it would start doing this, and if it can be fixed?

No sorry.

It could be one of many many things and if you were to look at it yourself then you might void the warrentee and loose the lot.

As inconvienent as it is I would wait for Currys to attend.
