Hello from Alberta Canada.

I'm in need of an electronic copy of a service manual for a Mits Reefer unit with the electronic step valve
(part #9).
So far, testing has narrowed things to this valve not fully being operational, BUT... I'm thinking that either the controller or the thermo sensor may also be affecting the operation of this valve as the reefer isn't getting cold enough (-35*f) for our storage needs.

Thanks for those who respond

Reefermechanic, just wanted to say that it's nice to see someone help out as much as you have. I hope these guys apreciate it!
I don't work on the cans but if I ever did, you would be my go to guy. If you ever trip on a truck or trailer, let me know!

you can manually open the EEV using the controller function. those valves "spin out" the valve seat and cause it to stay open or shut in place. if u get no response using the controller test u know its hooped. set it for 100% open and watch ur suction pressure for a rise or set it to 0% open and run it into a vacuum to double check...those EEVs are really susceptible to dirt and crap getting in the liquid line when guys change driers. there is also a small in line screen just above the drier which can get plugged as well... hope this helps
