Coated Service Deli Coils

I'm trying to find some field data or a case study that shows the advantages to evaporator coatings in service deli cases. The coatings are to prevent the acids in vinegars in prepared deli salads from eating away at the copper and aluminum and causing leaks. Let me know if you've done any comparisons, or seen literature from a vendor or publication.

In australia Kirby (now Heatcraft) offer coils with a modified epoxy coating called KirbyKote. When tested with diluted salt spray they outlast bare coils many times over

Thanks for the replies. I'm hoping to find a manufacturer who has specific test data on case lifespans with and without their products. You'd think this would be a valuable selling tool, but alas, I haven't found anyone who has such a document. These guys must be selling their wares on good looks and charm? ...for shame...

Try Bronz-Glow. Heatcraft Refrigeration Products has tested the product for use on evaporators.
