Anyone know how to activate the service setting on a Vector to open all valves before vac'ing?

Link out pins A and B of rs232 plug
Turn unit on
Use the up key until service mode appears on the display.
Press enter and your done.

Fridgeman is spot on , but do remember if you have a mt then the remote evaporator liquid solenoid valves will still be shut and will need magnets on them, the other thing is that the unit will only stay in this mode whilst still switched on, so if a long vac out is required then youll need to disconnect the battery once the unit is in service mode .

in service mode, the Vector turns on 1 unloader and all the remote liquid line solenoids. Also the suction modulation valve and the electronic expansion valve are opened 100%.
