Anyone familiar with arena?
Got one here, indoor model SW18MNVH-CC, outdoor model UC18RSVH-CW
Seems to run OK to me, but indoor operation LED flashes twice constantly.
Bit of history with the unit, playing up all the time for the past few years apparently.
It's a very basic unit, no outdoor PCB, so I checked all the thermistors and they seem to measure out and operate as they should. Flashing lights on a basic ac is normally just related to thermistor or indoor faults I thought. Everything seems good though.
indoor air temp shuts of compressor when adjusting setpoint OK, and is 4.1Kohm at 18C.
Pipe thermistor is 4.8kohm @ 16C.
outdoor thermistor cycles condensor fan OK and is 6Kohm.
Probably needs reclaim and recharge because of all the cowboys who looked at it previously topping it up all the time due to leaks.
But I don't want to waste and refrigerant in case the fault code means something needs replacing, (and I may not be able to get parts)

Looks like they have only market here under the name "arena" and usually go by Amena-air.com
No fault codes on their site though.
