Has anyone experienced a relatively low battery life with their SB210 SR2 units? It seems that a grp 31 950 CCA 180 amp minute reserve is lucky if it lasts a 12 to 14 months. Most of them seem to boil dry. problem widespread in a 75 plus unit fleet. charging systems all working properly. Any ideas?

Hmmmm....... I remember reading a post about this. Can't remember if it was here or not. Is this a TK battery?
One thing I can tell you is watch out for the starters. Watch for the cable size and distance to the inj. pump. Wrong starter = whole lot of trouble!

don't get me going on starters. Having lots of failures. Brushes wearing out at 4k to 5k hrs. Armatures burning up from arcing. Starters on national back order from TK. Not to mention the price!
