Hi..food on the glass shelf over the salad store is freezing??..it's a simple fridge...no freezer attatched..only food at the back of the glass shelf?
Any help appreciated, ian

You are probably pushing produce too far back on the shelves.
If it makes contact with the rear wall of the fridge then it is in contact with the refrigerant circuit which is below freezing.
Often happens with plastic wrapping etc. (Done it myself - oops)

I have to agree with Brian as the cold plate is on the inner rear panel of the refrigerator. Any foodstuff touching the back or in close proximity to it with high moisture content like lettuce etc will freeze.
Hello...thanks for the comments...We find that food even sitting on the glass shelf becomes almost frozen...the glass feels very cold to the touch?? any ideas. thanks

Does compressor running non stop or stops regularly?

If that is the case the chances are the stat is set too cold or is faulty. This causes the comp to run either too long or all the time which causes the food to freeze.
