I need to know the brand of an electronic expansion valve, which comes in a Chiller of Trane.
The Chiller is RTHC with a number of series EKM ----
Please.

Are there any details on the valve or valve actuator that you can help us with?

The Chiller is not working and they do not know why; they think it is the valve or the actuator.
I think the brand is sporlan

Who are they and how are they came to that conclusion?
What you done to came to that conclusion?
If chiller doesn't working how you/they know that EEV is faulty?

What a jump to conclude you have a faulty expansion valve did you run a system test,you will find that the valve can be run to check the windings and voltage output very often the problem will be with the wire or plug.

Or in this case the expansion valve module.

An RTHC as a UCM-CLD. The expansion module can be at fault.

My sugestion is to get Trane out to the unit and have them check it out. Be sure to have enough load to get the machine running at full load, to check the refridgerant charge!

If you want to order the valve you'll have to order it from trane. You need the complete model number and serial number to order!
