Mixing up the oxygen and nitrogen bottles to do a pressure test can cause a bit of a bang when you get the brazing gear out. Oh my god the noise.

So, if you used O2 for bleeding through whilst brazing were you using OFN and Acetylene for the brazing torch ?
Bit of a sad flame I expect ;)

It was not me the bloke who did it said the bottles were laying in the back of the van and he just seen a black end sticking out, there was a coat laying over the rest of it or something. The thing was a complete right off really thick alumimum castings just blown to bits. He had small bits stuck in him.

Oxygen + oil = instant explosion. Your collegue is lucky to be alive.
