Been called to a sharp inverter today that isn't running model number Sharp inverter AE-X095E. When i turn the unit on to cooling, the fan starts and the compressor begins to start up for about a second or so then shuts down but doesn't fault, the condensor fan keeps running.
I've removed the compressor terminals and measured 19v down each of the leads but the compressor doesnt run. The compressor isn't down to earth and the resistance checks out ok.
From what i can tell power comes off the main board onto the capacitor then onto power transister module then onto power factor module which then feeds the compressor. I have 190v onto the last module but only 19v at the compressor. I've included some pics for you to look at.
