How do iI set an LP switch with a differential for a coldroom. What sort of pressures do I require to maintain a temperature of bettween 0 and 5 degrees with the compressor cutting out and kicking in normally.

Are these exam questions coming round again?

With the LP switch - read the instructions that come with the switch.

What sort of refrigerant are you using?

You fit a thermostat for an accurate control of temperature as pressures vary with temperature and therfore an lp control switch will require constant adjustment and readjustment. ;)

I read your question as: you need to control a cooler with the LPC and you need the pressure settings.

Let's assume this is a small beverage cooler with a forced air evap. I'll also assume you were giving celsius temperatures being it's R-22.

0 C = 32 F
5 C = 41 F

You could start with these settings and adjust as needed for proper temps and to prevent short cycling.

cut in: 64 psi
cut out: 34 psi
