I own three Copeland KAKB semi-hermetic compressors. One is bad and would like to have it remanufactured for a spare. Can anyone direct me to anyone that does this near me? I live in Arizona, USA. Thanks!

The process for a HVACR contractor getting a remanufactured compressor is simple. They take it to a local HVACR supply houses, one that sells semi-hermetics, and purchase a remanufactured compressor and also get a core credit for the old one.

Your profile reads that you are an end user. Most HVACR supply houses only sell to licensed contractors, at least the reputable ones that enjoy everyday repeat business from licensed contractors.

Call your refrigeration contractor and have them get the compressor for you.
