how can i calculate superheat from the evaps to the comps if i have no thermosat near the evaps , for any help thanks grant

You mean non-useful superheat? Simply by measuring pipe temperature at evaporator outlet by thermometer and after that by measuring pipe temperature at least 10" (but not much further) from compressor by thermometer.
Then subtract lower value from higher and there is your non-useful superheat.

yeah .. i agree that i really the helps from other gadgets.
that why i always insist the preparation of
1] IR temp gun;
2] pressure gage;
3] glass bulb thermometer;
4] etc.
when supheat or expansion valve has to be adjusted/tuned.
