Hi , you know when you get one of them really greasy condensers, full of sticky greasy dirt which despite all your efforts you cant seem to clean effectively,. Do you know of anything that will remove this ****e without having to remove or renew the condenser coil.
regards phil

Hi Phil

Grease Gobbler from Climate Centre or Hrp.

Spray it on with spray bottle and leave o/nite and then spray with clean water next day.

You might have to do it a couple of times as getting that stuff off is a pig.

There is more potent stuff on the market but if you get the wrong consistancy it melts the fins.

You should consider this for grease!

always find it works well if you leave it to soak, also a steam gun (wallpaper remover) ive used in the past on indoors and brings them up a treat

I spray it with some Renewz and then use a steam cleaner after it sits for a few minutes... good as new!

Vapco makes Power Clean..safe to skin but soaks thru grease with no odor. Rectorseal has { ? } ConCoil but is ACID BASED. Diluted it still works great but BE CAREFUL!!. Used when nothing else worked. Just flush down well and use glasses for splashback. Sometimes you just have to condemn the coil... all about time and final result. GOOD LUCK!!
