I have no practical real world Expeirence with either of these machines, however if i was to make a direct comparison to the compariable units here in N.A.

TK SB 200 and Ultra or ultima 53.

do you speak about SL 200 "E" or without E? thats important because the changing with the belts get more higher standard nearly the simple and good solution at carrier. The last revision of the 200 is very good i think but every time the failures are removed they ' bring out a new series like soon SLX. But either the Maxima i can't tell anything bad only the pins connection to the control panel if mounted outside like big problem as vector all connections. Ups- i forgot at Maxima the evap.-blower . every blower which is in construction welded inside only on one side breaks down and causes much expensive damage if not inspected in the beginning. its just simple : before you hear any noise you will see one or more strips of rost ( rust- brown Strip)

Im talking about the SL200e or as its called in the UK the "Sterling". I know that TK is bringing out the SLX which we will just have to wait and see what its like. Did Carrier re invent the Maxima and call it the Maxima 1300??

SB an Ultra have more power than the european solutions

also the builtup of the units is very very different
