My ex-wife had started taking flying lessons about the time our divorce started (1998) and she got her license shortly before our divorce was final, later that same year.

Yesterday afternoon, she narrowly escaped injury in the aircraft she was piloting when she was forced to make an emergency landing in a garden near the airport, because of bad weather, and crashed.

The absence of a post-crash fire was likely due to insufficient fuel onboard.

No one on the ground was injured.

Photograph was taken at the scene and shows the extent of damage to her aircraft.

She was very, very lucky.

That was hilarious. I was busy trying to figure out the story and when I noticed the big space towards the end of the text I knew something funny was about....:D

I think my ex went to the same flight academy also.

Try to switch to heavier fuel (whiskey, brandy), it maybe helps!;)

Disgusting stuff - never touch it.

Don't mind a nice G & T now and again though. :)
