We use a manufacturer called swift who do a temp monitor with web access that includes e-mail and sms on fault conditions and temperature logging. PM if you cant find it (assuming its what you need)

Had a customer who wanted to know if the temp in his server room got too warm so I connected a themostat to a guardtech alarm which would ring a number of phone numbers to alert him to the situation. The alarm had a battery back up so it would work in a power outage but as has already been said it needs a direct line out

just purchase a standard auto dialer
and a digital temp, controller
connect the n/o circuit of the auto dialer to the
n/o contacts of the digital controller
when temp. goes above (alarm setpoint) it closes
contacts on the dialer and makes the call

A customer of mine has had a web cam installed to check the coldroom temp and warning lights on the panel.

whats happens when he falls asleep
i would have the auto dialer hooked up in a series circuit with all of the safeties!;)
