    Toshiba wall unit lost ability to heat



    Hi
    Call out to Toshiba wall unit RAV-SM562KRT-E not heating.
    While cycling through the controller the heat symbol is missing and went into the system configuration menu, 0F-heat mode to select available but after saving this setting and going into the config. the controller shows 0001 unavailable
    The controller is RBC-AM31e
    I'm Stuck.. any advice

    I dont know much about Toshiba units, but i do have a service manual for the above unit which i can send over to you in pdf if that would be any help?

    Hi FIXIT,

    In my opinion there are three menus you need to check \ set up for all modes to be available.

    0d = 0000 (auto mode available)
    0F = 0000 (heat mode available)
    2d = 0015 (all modes available)

    GT Phelans in Bray should be able to help you - they're the Toshiba distributor for Eire

    It is a single system
    changed 0F to 0000 but it will not save that change.
    i will put it down to faulty indoor board.
