R134a small chiller
Gentlemen,
I am working on a small 1/3hp chiller medium temp 134a. Book says charge is absolutely critical that when water temp is stable 52 to 53 degrees the suction should be between 33 and 35 PSIG. Problem is book refering to R-12 not 134a. Using a PT chart I come up with 31 to 33 psig at 52 to 53 degrees water temp. Am I correct? I have done many 12 chillers but not 134a. Thanks!
