displacement compressors
hi there can any one help me i have condemend a compressor being an aspera t2168gk which is 3/4 h/p and has displacement off 17 however i already have a t2178gk in stock which is also a 3/4 h/p but has a displacement off 20 i was wanting to know what displacement was and whether i would get away with fitting the compressor i already have as it would save me a small fortune can any one advise thanks james

According to the compressor chart here...

The T2168 is a 1/2hp rated at 752Watts while the T2178 is a 5/8hp rated at 910Watts.
The sites compressor comparision chart gives the range rating as..
T2168 701-800W
T2178 901-1000W

hi brian thanks for that info that helps slightly but refering to the nrs book it lists them both as the same h/p and the only diffrence between them is the displacement i think i will just buy the right compressor thanks again james
