Ammonia evaporative condenser surface
Dear Friends:
Does some body knows the surface area required per MBH at manufacturer std. conditions for a evaporative condenser.

It depends on the manufacturing. It is usually from 2kw/m2 ~4kw/m2 . Only for your ref. You can refer to the specific catalogue for it.

I think that Vilter, Baltimore, Evapco have about the same surface area, Do you Know this figures? also Kw/m2 that you stated are evaporator KW or total heat rejection KW?

The ammonia evaporative condenser total heat rejection:2~3.3KW/M2 usually;we made copper tube evap condenser and the heat reject is at the upper level.
Hope it can do some help for you. You'll design it or manufacture it?
