Precooling of dry onions
Dear all,
In tropical countries, after harvesting, wat is the normal way to pre-chill dry onions (of approx 25 deg C) before storing in chiller room of 0-2 deg C.
Normally, end user will stack sacks of onions in chiller room without much consideration of proper air ventilation through products. In this case, any suggestion or idea to improve such situation?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
I'm not sure if you saw this thread. It has a lot of links to different sources of potential information.
