TXV icing but room warming
Hello cool people,
First time post for me.
If your Thermal Expansion Valve and distributor lines are icing but your walk-in is warming above setpoint, what are the first things that should come to mind in terms of diagnostics?
I just figure it is low on refrigerant but could somethin be wrong with the design?
We're talkin 2HP Copeland w/ r134a for a 4c room.
TXV is Alco with MOP thermal bulb charge.
Thanks folks, Joe.

1) Low on gas. Check SH, SC and eventually fill it up.
2) Liquid solenoid blocked. Change diaphragm.
3) Liquid filter clogged. Replace core.

What's a 4c room? I personally like more a 5 W room
Pressures readings?
Temeprature readings SH and SC?It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
