Whirlpool K40
New Here.
Replaced the solonoid inlet but the ice machine still dumping more water than usual. Still making ice but flooding my cellar. It dumps after the ice slides on to the cutter grid. Any advice?
Cheers

Sometimes when the temperature of the room the ice machine is in gets too cold, it can cause the harvest/ice release cycle to run too longer. Which I think is when the water inlet valve is opened.
If the machine is making the ice to the right thickness you want. You can try blocking up half of the condensor coil with a bit of cardboard, to try and speed up the harvest/ice release cycle.Last edited by seanf; 20-12-2023 at 10:09 PM.
