Polar T316 Ice Machine - tray dropping when filling
Hi,
I have seen a few references to similar problems on Polar T316 ice machines with the water trays dropping down and flooding the bin before the water level gets to the required depth. I have this issue and I saw on YouTube on the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0S5B3_cAII&t=2575s that the recommendation is to tighten the nut on the shaft that is connected to the motor that drives the tray. I have tightened this up considerably to the point where further tightening is likely to break something, but the tray still drops.
I was wondering if anyone has some advice regarding this problem. Also if someone has a service manual for this machine I am keen to get hold of one.

Yep, it was the motor. AE947 seems to be the current part number for the whole assembly.
