Mitsubishi PUHZ-ZRP140VKA condenser
Hi all, a small shout for help please.
I have a Mitsubishi AC that keeps freezing up.
The condenser is turning into a solid block of ice and smashing up the fan blades. No fault codes, it will just run untill the damage is done!
If the site are using the AC on constant heating mode, do Mitsubishi have a internal defrost command ? If so what thermistor activates this?
TIA for any help

Lots of things to check:
Gas charge
Outdoor thermister values
Coil thermister values
Etc.
Here's a link to the Service Manual http://www.mitsubi****ech.co.uk/Data...SM_OCH527C.pdf

Cheers Frank, I suspected thermistor issues, as someone has butchered it before! Sorry, I can't open the attachment!

It's a web site link not an attachment. Looks like it didn't paste correctly. I'll have a look

It's the site language editor that does it Frank, your link was fine before the astericks struck.

Outdoor coil probe main suspect if not going into defrost.

Thankyou Brian, I've got the info downloaded 👍🏼
Tayters, again thanks, I think we're on the same page. Thermistor issues.
I was unsure as the weather or not, the condenser still defrosted its self when on "heat mode" or "auto cycle" I guess if the coil probe is reading correctly, it should defrost either way ?
