Panasonic ducted unit HP switch
Ive got a panasonic cu-l43dbe5 ducted unit with a faulty HP switch. Ive ordered it but its going to take a month to arrive from overseas. The customers not happy...
Does anyone know if a generic R410a HP switch will work? The wholesalers have got 240V encapsulated switches but this switch is 30V DC. Im not sure if the resistances will be right for the board? The switch is a Danfoss\Saginomiya ACB-4UB14.
Thanks for any help

Re: Panasonic ducted unit HP switch
Hi there,
Think of the 30 volt switch as having delicate internal mechanism
The 240 switch has robust internals (have you ever seen the glow inside the light switch when you turn on the lights on at home - the one in my hallway gets hot to touch, makes a pop sound when turn it off..)
You can use a robust switch in place of delicate but not the other way round
Happy tinkering

Re: Panasonic ducted unit HP switch
you might be able to use that pressure switch in-direct by applying a relay into the circuit. and when you got the direct replacement part put everything back into order.
this option if succeeded will safe the unit if the pressure increased and also will help you to make your customer satisfied. which i believe is an important factor.Last edited by Shibhrac; 15-08-2018 at 08:32 PM.
