R22 drop in.
Is there a drop in available to replace r22 that does'nt cost a fortune or do i now have to replace the compressor every time i go to a commercial fridge that has lost gas.

Where have you been for the last few years my friend?
Or have you not been reading the forum?
Some R22 replacements are fazed out themselves. Man made refrigerants are crazy prices.
I will let the commercial Guys who know better than me, advise you further.

Oil change to poe and run it on R407F, R407C, R407A etc
Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)

Hi Grizzly. Been using R422a up until the prices went from £12 kilo to about £80 a kilo.

Heres on we did on a Calorex unit, cut the compressor out and tipped the oil out the suction before refilling.

Thanks guys but i have found a straight drop in. No oil change with a lower discharge temp and a reasonable £27 per kilo. RS44. Ideal for medium to high temp systems.
