Big 4-5 inch industrial valve question
Hello,
As you can see in my other ad Im doing a heating scrap out on a commercial building. There is huge valves for maybe 4-5 inch pipe. Maybe bigger. They are like 50 lbs each if not better.,
Now I noticed they are are all steel except the center screw and nut holding the handle on. Are these worth to strip down for the brass or right into the prepared pile?I went through many resources and even checked Industrial Valve Video to know more but,did not find much. Please help me out.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Re: Big 4-5 inch industrial valve question
Try to search on the net with the valve Brand name, Or its manufacture may contact to get information about the valve material.
Open one of it and check visually the material other then iron.
