Refrigerator making loud noise - Can i turn on "Cool air"? - Zanussi
So I'm staying in a rented house for a couple months and the Zanussi fridge is making a loud noise.
I noticed that if I turn off where it says "Cool Air" the noise stops.
The owners didn't mention anything about the noise but they said they had it defrosted a few days ago because it had some ice and they just turned it on yesterday.
I noticed there's Ice inside the fridge so I guess the problem is that there's ICE on the "Cool Air" fan.
My question is if for now I can just turn off that "Cool air" fan?
Thanks

Renew the noisy fan with a equivalent.
I maintain, everything I have, myself.

Not sure what a "Cool air" fan is. It might be an air distribution motor that rotates louvers in the chiller compartment. The Evaporator fan would not have an on/ off setting so i would turn the "Cool air" off.
Check on contents a few hours later to see if chilled items are not going warm.To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty.
