ac unit condensate water
Hi all
i have question about water condensates from ac unit which drained outside
if AC unit works perfectly
then y sometimes there will be no water drain
or why it will be too much water
what condition that could prevent it or decrease or increase it

Re: ac unit condensate water
It depends on the ambient humidity level whether there is any excess moisture to be removed from the air.

outdoor humidity is 19%
temperature is 46 CPower consists not in being able to strike another but in being able to control oneself when anger arises

Re: ac unit condensate water
When it comes to AC and humidity it is the room humidity that counts.
But with ambient being as low as 19% I guess the room humidity would be really low as well.
Generally if you have a room humidity of less than ~30% there will be little or no dehumidification by the evaporator and therefore little or no condensate.
If on the other hand you got a high room humidity there will be vast amounts of condensate.
