Less Traffic
Is it just me, or is there a lot less posts on this site than there used to be?

Re: Less Traffic
.
I have noticed it.
I myself have not been posting a lot recently due to
work and family commitments but I pop in most days
and see only one or two posts.
Must be a slow summer
I have noticed quite a few of the older established posters
from a few years back have all mostly stopped posting, I
hope it is not a sign of things to come.

Re: Less Traffic
Hi Guys
I have noticed it as well. Maybe some of the regulars don't have the time.
I must admit I will read many posts but don't comment.

Re: Less Traffic
There's quite a few of us baby boomers who've already retired, but is it just me or does there seem to be a few contributors who don't seem to have any experience of the trade.

Re: Less Traffic
I'm on here a lot less due to the lack of new posts, so it's a kind of a catch-22. I've got to be honest and say that this site is looking a tad tired; it overdue for an update. If you have a look at a a forum that I use often, www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk, which has a modem and clean feel, you'll see what I mean.

Re: Less Traffic
OT ....sorry
I used to be on ukbusiness. Is it still full of the same 3 or 4 people who turn every thread into an seo v ppc argument?
Gibson, sir earl etc....etc....
Then you got the owners of the international conglomerates operating from their mums back bedroom while offering their wealth of knowledge to those of us who actually had real businesses. That place is full of charlatans.

Re: Less Traffic
There's plenty of them guys still on there; they usually argue between themselves on posts of little importance, with all arguments resulting in an endless spiral of “my company makes more than yours, so I must know better”. It's what the ignore button was made for!
However, the vast majority are there to help. Over the years I have received some great advice & help from genuine people, and hope that I myself have provided the same to others.
Other than business advice, it’s also a great forum to get initial legal, accounting & tax advice.
I don’t want to bore you with the details, but after some trouble with my own accountant, a quick post from me and a couple pages of user reply’s later, and ukbusinessforums saved my business from some serious trouble.

Re: Less Traffic
Seems to be the same people putting rubbish on. I'm currently trying to resurrect the worst units I've ever seen as my boss thinks I'm a priest
