Spectrum SB 30 full of ***** but running in a vacuum
I am working on a spectrum that has the rear unit disconnected. The unit has a newly rebuilt throttling valve on it and I just charged it. The unit is full of ***** but it is running in a vacuum. The high side pressure is stable around 135psi and the low side is in a vacuum. It is cooling but only at a -7* differential.

Is the rebuilt valve working?

Re: Spectrum SB 30 full of ***** but running in a vacuum
check the LLS diode is energised on the relay board(liquid line solenoid) Bottom left corner of board.
If it is, probably TX valve or power head fault

your problem most be found in the liquid line, check also if your LP-gauge is correct.

Re: Spectrum SB 30 full of ***** but running in a vacuum
all suggestion might be right,
what is a your refrigeration gas ? why your hp pressure is a 135 psi
if your using R-22 it should not be less than 180 psi , Min. TX valve works pressure to works and open correctly
