High humidity and low fan speed. This happens often with Vehicle air-conditioners when the conditions outside are warm but wet and miserable. It's just fog or mist.

Re: Why do air conditioners blow out white smoke?
as mike says running a unit in cooling in low fan speed can create mist- its normal- also recommended to have louvres angled horizontal to prevent dew from forming

What kind of white smoke is coming out? Does it have smell? If smells none, probably its a condensation. Be careful also with refrigerant leaks since its very harmful when huffed inside the closed space.
